Field Trips

Full details of field trips will be given at the preceding indoor meeting. Members unable to attend the indoor meeting should contact the Field Trips Secretary for details, their contact information can be found on the committee page.

Outdoor Meetings are subject to change at the last minute depending on weather conditions and other considerations.

Reminders and details of Field Meetings will be emailed out to members.
Mini-bus trips have been discontinued over the last years but if there is sufficient interest we will revive them. The cost will have gone up though.
We do encourage members to share transport and if you are looking for a lift please contact either Brian Shaw or Chris Byrne, contact details on the Committee page of the website.

Our field meetings start at 9.30 and usually finish by lunch time.
Please bring warm clothing and boots. Remember to bring binoculars and telescopes (optional) and a field guide. Feel free to bring your own refreshments.
